RESULTS

DISPOSALS
Jade Gresham (u21.5)
In the Saints best team Gresham plays majority fwd pocket and he's already begun losing midfield minutes to Zak Jones. His output has declined since the start of the year to where we got a 15 from him last week. It's also possible that the Cats continue on from last week with the reversion to high-possession football which would restrict opposition accumulation like 2021.

Result: 30 disposals (LOSS)
Matt Rowell (u21.5)
Rowell's line has been high all season (21.5/22.5) after his 33 touch Round 1 against the Eagles which as we know now is misleading. His 2022 median is 19 after that Eagles game his average is also 19. He comes up against the #1 team for restricting opposition contested possession in the Dockers and that is his major way of winning the ball (#6 in the league). You could also add Miller in here (#1 cont poss GC, #3 league) depending on his line. I'll take u30.5 on Touk.

Result: 18 disposals (WIN)
Jordan De Goey (o23.5)
Pretty straight forward. Had a few illness effected weeks. We were getting lines of 27.5 towards the end of last year and no reason he won't trend that way again.
Bookmaker: Topsport $1.95
Units: 1
Result: 21 disposals (LOSS)
Dyson Heppell (u24.5)
The Swans rank #1 for limiting uncontested possession and #2 for limited the designated kicker (limiting this position by an average of 14%). Heppell has been taking on more of these responsibilities in the last month and I think will struggle to clear this line.
Bookmaker: Topsport $1.89
Units: 1
Result: 23 disposals (WIN) Parish/Merrett (u32.5/u32.5)
The story goes that Truck was forced to face the board last week to say how he was going to fix the Bombers issues. The main change was ball movement. The Bombers were going to be more direct. And you could see it against the Hawks. I only recall a few times out of stoppage that the Dons hand-balled backwards. Without these pointless touches, both Merrett and Parish failed to clear their disposal lines. Seeing as this strategy worked, I don't see it changing against the Swans who by the way rank #1 in restricting total possession, uncontested possession and rank #5 in contested disposal restriction. Added to this, we might see slippery conditions and the Swans should come out firing after getting pantsed yet again by the Suns.

The Pies structure this week is all leading to a switch to deep forward for WHE. Taking these tasty prices.
