Brisbane have been a great match up this season for guys floating around off half back. We really liked the look of him last week but wasn't completely sold on him at Norwood Oval as we had question marks around him being able to find as much space in the congestion. He's teasing to have a classic, monster Whitfield game and this one looks to be the match up to do it. With Brisbane potentially piling on a score pressure should be off and Whitfield will be free to do his thing in his +1 position off of half back. Throughout Whitfield's career Brisbane are his third favourite team to play against with a career average of 25.33 love to be on him in this spot with a 30+ disposal game on the horizon.

This is a great opportunity for Newman. The prime accumulators in Docherty and Saad are out and he’s next in line to be found for the handball receive coming out of defence.
